Your time.
Back in your hands.

Guilt Trip turns Screen Time into a fuel gauge for the apps that eat your day. Smart pit stops break the doom-scroll before it starts, and healthy habits earn you a little extra.

Stop doom-scrolling. Enjoy the real world. Live healthier. Be present with family.

Beta testers get Guilt Trip early through Apple's TestFlight app. Built on Apple's Screen Time. Your data never leaves your device.

Guilt Trip's Today screen: a fuel gauge showing 1 hour 47 minutes of fuel left and the next pit stop in 20 minutes.

Why it exists

Doom-scrolling isn't a willpower problem.
It's a design problem.

Feeds never end. Infinite scroll is built so there's never a natural place to stop. "Just checking" quietly turns into forty-five minutes.

Limits get snoozed. A plain time limit is easy to dismiss with one tap, and an all-or-nothing block feels like punishment, so it gets turned off.

Guilt Trip adds the off-ramps. Short, real breaks at the right moments, a gauge you can read at a glance, and rewards for the rest of your life.

How it works

A fuel gauge, pit stops,
and a little extra for good days.

01

Pick the apps that eat your day

Choose the apps, categories or websites to manage. Apple's Screen Time keeps them private, so Guilt Trip never even sees their names.

02

Watch the needle, not the clock

Your day is a tank of fuel. Use those apps and the needle drops from green to red, so you always know where you stand.

03

Take the pit stop

Scroll too long and the apps pause for a short break, enforced by iOS itself. The lower the tank, the sooner and longer the stops.

Private by design

Your habits are yours.
We never see them.

No account

No sign-up, no login, no server holding your data.

On-device Screen Time

Apple's private frameworks measure your use. Guilt Trip can't even read your app names.

Health is optional

Read-only, only what you allow. Never heart rate or medical data.

No ads, no tracking

No ad networks, no analytics SDKs, nothing sold. Ever.

Read the full Privacy Policy.

Two ways to drive

A daily limit.
Or just pit stops.

Pick the style that fits. Switch any time; your progress stays with you.

Daily Limit

A clear limit, with help sticking to it.

Set your daily fuel. Pit stops keep you mindful along the way, and the apps stop when the tank is empty.

Pit Stops Only

No daily cutoff. Just smarter breaks.

Guilt Trip learns your usual day. Use more than usual and breaks come sooner and last a little longer.

Earn a little extra

Move more.
Earn more time.

Good days earn bonus fuel. Connect Apple Health if you like, and only the categories you allow are ever read.

  • Steps, activity and sleep fill up bars toward a bonus of up to 20 minutes, measured against your own typical day.
  • Using your phone less than your recent average earns extra on its own.
  • Unused bonus rolls over, so a good day helps tomorrow too.

For families Pro

Little chores.
Big motivation.

Kids learn that screen time is earned, not a fight. Parents set the rules once and a PIN keeps them in place.

  • Chores and challenges that a parent approves to unlock extra time.
  • Learn & earn: time spent in learning apps turns into fun-app time.
  • Chores first can hold part of the day's time until the chores are done.
  • A parent PIN locks limits and settings, and lets you hand out extra time when it's deserved.
  • One purchase covers the family with Lifetime Pro and Apple Family Sharing.
Guilt Trip's chores list with rewards: practice piano for 20 minutes, read a book for 15, tidy your room for 10.

FAQ

Good questions.

Is Guilt Trip for adults or kids?

Both. Adults use it to rein in their own scrolling with pit stops, a fuel gauge and rewards for healthy days. Parents can add Pro's parental controls on a child's iPhone or iPad: a PIN that locks the settings, chores and learning rewards, and extra time on their terms.

Can't I just ignore it like other screen time limits?

Pit stops and limits use Apple's own Screen Time shields, so the apps really pause; it isn't just a notification. Breaks are short on purpose, so you're not tempted to switch the whole thing off.

What happens to my data?

It stays on your device. Guilt Trip has no account and no server. Apple's Screen Time frameworks measure your use privately; Guilt Trip can't see your app names or browsing. Apple Health is optional and read-only.

Do I need an Apple Watch or Apple Health?

No. Health is optional and the app works fully without it. If you do connect it, your iPhone's steps count on their own, and an Apple Watch adds workouts and activity.

Which devices does it work on?

iPhone and iPad. Guilt Trip is built on Apple's Screen Time frameworks, so it isn't available for Android.

When is it available?

Very soon. Guilt Trip is getting its final checks before the App Store, and this page will link straight to it the day it's live. Want it now? Join the beta on TestFlight. Install Apple's free TestFlight app, open the link on your iPhone or iPad, and tap Accept. Feedback goes straight to us from TestFlight.
